Summary:
Prototype mount:
Mount will be shipped to Hilo by flight shortly, Bob will check it when arrived.
Vertex mount:
As per our request, Vertex modified the document of performance specs and scope of work, and sent it to us to review.
MMIC:
Correlator:
Warwick and C.T. Li fished the phase & amplitude measurement on the Meridian microwave lag correlator, and circulate a interim report around. Its phase errors is about 90 degree, and quite a dispersion in the delay up to 18GHz, it's not a flat response. There are quite a lot of variation down low frequency below 4GHz, it might be a indication of a general bad natural mixer. The amplitude response is about 60db cross the band, and the linearity is much as Jeff suggested at -10dBm, it seems the max power level input the correlator which we want to operate. They will continue on measuring the correlator. Jeff will provide the material information of delay line to Warwick, it might help to find out the reason of dispersion in delay.
Receiver:
The power coming out from dewar after receiver is too low , Mingtang hopes to work out this problem and finish all tests by end Feb. 30cm dish has been fixed to the receiver without problem.
30cm dish:
Further measurement on the second dish in Tucson is still on going.
Site & Lab:
Still work on the leasing agreements with CSO & MLO.
Optical telescope:
No comment on the specification prepared by Mike, the next step is to get the quotes from vendors.
Action items:
Next meeting: Thursday, 21, Feb at 8:30AM Taipei time.
